Description
Idler pulley going out on your MakerBot Replicator Z18, 5th Gen or Mini? If you’re hearing a clicking/grinding sound coming from the top of your 3D printer and it’s not caused by the Smart Extruder, then you have an idler pulley that is going out or gone.
NOTE: It is also likely that if you’ve been running your Z18 with a bad idler pulley that the Shoulder Bolt that the pulley mounts on may also be worn down and need to be replaced.
This is an exact replacement to the existing idler pulley, only made out of aluminum instead of black plastic. The bearing in the pulley is also upgraded, to ensure increased life expectancy over the stock part.
Parts Included:
1x = Idler Pulley
UPDATE 1-27-2017: The part is now an aluminum pulley with a higher quality bearing for increased life expectancy.
